Overview
Sightseeing down the Seward Highway along the majestic Turnagain Arm. See native wildlife up close in a beautiful natural setting at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, home to a large variety of brown bears, black bears, moose, caribou, wolves, musk ox, lynx, and wood bison. You might see many or most of these during the visit.

The tour does not require much walking. But we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Expect temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to the mid-70s F (10 - 25 C), or warmer. Dress in layers and always prepare for rain and wind. Our vans have plenty of room to bring an extra jacket and hat. It’s always advisable to wear sunglasses and bring along sunscreen and insect repellent.
We have and are able to successfully accommodate guests with reduced mobility and/or who require assistance walking (walkers, canes, etc.). However, our fleet is not equipped to accommodate those who are wheelchair-bound. Please note that some of the stops along the tour are not paved.
