This 2-day trek offers a condensed yet rewarding Inca Trail experience, blending natural beauty with ancient history. Starting at KM 104, the hike passes through the impressive ruins of Chachabamba and the stunning terraces of Wiñay Wayna. At Inti Punku, the Sun Gate, take in breathtaking views of Machu Picchu before descending to Aguas Calientes for an overnight stay. The adventure continues with a climb up Huayna Picchu and free time to explore the town, concluding with a comfortable return to Cusco. What you will be doing
Transfer from Cusco to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where you'll embark on your journey along the iconic Inca Trail. Visit the fascinating ruins of Chachabamba before starting a scenic 4-hour hike through the lush Andean landscape to Wiñay Wayna. At Inti Punku (the Sun Gate), take in the awe-inspiring panoramic view of Machu Picchu.
After a guided tour of the stunning Machu Picchu ruins, enjoy the opportunity to hike Huayna Picchu for breathtaking views of the ancient citadel and surrounding mountains. Spend the rest of the day exploring Aguas Calientes at your leisure, with time to relax or shop for souvenirs. Private transportation will then return you to your hotel in Cusco, concluding your unforgettable trek.

It is mandatory to hike the trail with an accredited agency. You are not allowed to hike the trail independently.
