What you will be doing
The Trans-Alaska Pipeline System is one of the world's largest (800-mile) pipeline systems.
One of the most popular hikes in the area is Wickersham Dome on Summit Trail, which travels along ridges and above tree lines atop packed dirt and exposed rock with a panoramic picture of the White Mountains and as far north as the Brooks Range on a clear day.

Finger Mountain is a topographical formation in interior Alaska. Not actually a mountain, it is a wide, broad hill with an altitude of around 2202 ft. It is named for Finger Rock, a distinctive granite protrusion on its surface.
The Arctic Circle is a theoretical line where the sun does not set on the summer solstice or rise on the winter solstice. It's a simple wood sign featuring a view of the Earth looking down from the North Pole. On the back of the sign, visitors have left stickers indicating where they are from, including many international visitors.
