Overview
Experience Jasper, the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, on this small-group tour. Your guide will pick you up from your Jasper hotel. The first stop on the tour is Maligne Canyon, where 10,000 years of erosion have created the deepest canyon in the Rockies. Begin with a short, easy walk, admiring the Maligne River and its many waterfalls as you cross a series of scenic bridges. You’ll stop at the disappearing Medicine Lake, followed by the fairytale-like Maligne Lake where you can take a walk along the shoreline. As you explore Jasper, you’ll have a great chance of spotting wildlife, thanks to the park’s remote location in the Rocky Mountains. From early June to early October, you can opt for a scenic boat tour on Maligne Lake, one of the most iconic and picturesque lakes in Jasper National Park. The highlight of the cruise is a visit to Spirit Island, one of the most photographed locations in the Canadian Rockies.

Please be ready at the front of your hotel five minutes before your scheduled pick-up time. Look for a black or silver Ford Transit van with the Alberta Blue Sky Tours logo.
If your tour guide has not arrived exactly on time, please allow a five-minute leeway, as they may be delayed while picking up other guests.
We recommend bringing an extra layer of clothing, as mountain weather can be unpredictable and temperatures may vary significantly between stops on this tour.
Due to the 2024 wildfires in Jasper, modifications to the tour itinerary may be required throughout the 2025 travel season. If there are closures affecting our regularly scheduled stops, we will adjust the itinerary to ensure you have the best and safest experience possible.
