Overview
Hike through the surreal eroded canyons, admire the unique rock formations and learn about the desert's geological history. You'll start your desert adventure by visiting the sector of Los Hoyos first, an area characterised by its lunar landscape and grey colours. We will continue walking through the Cuzco, which stands out for its red and earth tones and the greatest geomorphology of the Desert. Finish your walking tour in The Valley of the Xilopalos, also known as the Valley of the Trunks, a fascinating area within La Tatacoa Desert. The valley is characterised by its striking rock formations, eroded canyons, and a vast collection of petrified tree trunks, giving it a surreal and otherworldly appearance.
