About your host

Nosso Tejo

The Tagus estuary traditional boats are one of the most important cultural heritage of its coastal communities. Its typological diversity is the largest in Europe. In the late '60s with the introduction of road bridges, these vessels became obsolete which led to their abandonment. Of the thousands of boats that once existed, only 75 survived, 6 of which were of large size. They were registered in the Marinha do Tejo - Living part of Portuguese Navy Museum, and therefore are considered museum pieces. We are the only company offering tours in large size Lisbon Traditional Boats, making our tours a truly unique experience.

For every trip booked, Kodama Travel donates £1 to Just One Tree to restore our forests and the ocean.
