Overview
Join the Paddington Walking Tour and discover this charming London neighbourhood in W2 that inspired the name of the most favourite bear from Peru more than 50 years ago. Pack your marmalade sandwich, put on some comfortable shoes and duffle coat (or a rain jacket as it is London after all) and let us take you on a fun-filled tour of sites in the Paddington area. This walking tour explores both the area of Paddington and its surrounding neighbourhoods such as Paddington Green, Maida Vale, Little Venice and Notting Hill and also celebrates its most notable residents the most famous one being a bear from Peru. Starting at Paddington Station you can see where Mr and Mrs Brown discover the loveable bear and take him home to live with them, naming him Paddington after the station where he was found. The tour will include a visit to a statue of Paddington as well as filming and literary locations and give you behind-the-scenes information about how the movies were made and how the character of the bear was born. For those keen enough we will even test your knowledge along the way.
