Journey through the Sacred Valley to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu, then travel by train to Puno and the serene Lake Titicaca. What you will be doing
Upon arrival in Cusco, transfer from the airport to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the historic city, including a guided city tour and visits to nearby ruins. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of this former Inca capital.
Embark on an exciting journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Start by visiting the charming town of Pisac, famous for its vibrant craft fair and impressive ruins. After a buffet lunch, continue to Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca archaeological site. Then, enjoy a scenic train ride through the stunning Urubamba Valley, taking you to the base of the iconic Machu Picchu.
Start your day early with a Zigzag bus ride up to Machu Picchu. Discover the majesty of this ancient citadel during a guided tour, exploring its breathtaking terraces, temples, and plazas. Afterwards, return to Cusco by train.
Enjoy a scenic train ride from Cusco to Puno, passing through the beautiful Andean landscapes. Upon arrival in Puno, transfer to your hotel and spend the night in this charming lakeside city.
Begin your day with a boat trip to the floating islands of the Uros people, where you'll learn about their unique way of life. Continue to Amantani Island, where you'll walk through traditional villages and visit the Pachamama and Pachatata Inca ceremonial temples.
After breakfast, travel to Taquile Island, known for its stunning views and traditional weaving culture. Here, you'll have the opportunity to meet the Taquileños, learn about their customs, and purchase handmade textiles and crafts. In the afternoon, return to Puno.
Transfer to Puno Airport for your flight back to Lima. Upon arrival, spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the capital city on your own.
On your final day, transfer to the Lima airport for your departure flight.
