From exploring Lima’s colonial heart and the ancient temples of Pachacamac to discovering the rich biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest and the wonders of Machu Picchu, this tour is designed to show you the charm of Peru, and we hope you’ll fall in love with our country. What you will be doing
Upon arrival in Lima, we will explore the city's historic centre, including the grand Cathedral of Lima and the Government Palace, both fine examples of colonial architecture.
We will visit the Pachacamac archaeological complex, a significant site for Inca pilgrims. After exploring the ruins, enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby hacienda while watching a traditional Paso horse show.
Today, we fly to Iquitos and embark on an exciting jungle adventure. Experience the vibrant flora and fauna of the Amazon as we delve into the unique ecosystem of the region.
After breakfast, we will take a boat trip along the Amazon River to spot the elusive pink river dolphins. Later, we will explore the jungle on foot, both during the day and night, to observe how the wildlife and environment change with the hours.
We will take part in more local jungle activities before returning to Iquitos for an overnight stay in the city.
Fly from Iquitos to Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to the Sacred Valley, where the stunning scenery and ancient sites await.
Today, we will explore the town of Pisac, famous for its vibrant market and Inca ruins, followed by a visit to Ollantaytambo's archaeological site. We'll also stop by Chinchero, a charming village known for its traditional Andean architecture. Enjoy a relaxing picnic by the serene Laguna Huaypo, before being treated to a cultural show and dinner celebrating Andean deities.
Begin the day with a visit to a local peasant community for an authentic cultural experience, followed by a traditional lunch. Afterward, we'll head to Ollantaytambo station for a scenic train ride to the town of Machu Picchu.
Explore the breathtaking Machu Picchu with a guided tour, delving into the history and significance of this iconic Inca site. Afterward, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo Station and return to Cusco.
Spend the morning touring Cusco and its nearby ruins, including the impressive Sacsayhuamán fortress. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will fly back to Lima for a farewell dinner and a cultural show to celebrate the incredible journey.
After an unforgettable adventure, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
