Overview
Experience the unique Japanese culture in one day! This tour is highly recommended for first-time visitors as transportation in Japan is very complicated. Our guide will also explain how to use metros. We also welcome people who would like to have a deeper understanding of our culture, history, and lifestyle. You will spend 8 hours visiting the Imperial Palace, Fire Temple, Ryogoku, and Akihabara where you will see Japanese history, religions, national sports, and technology in order.
What you will be doing
The Imperial Palace is located on the former site of Edo castle. Imperial families live there. You can see the castle ruins, park, Japanese style garden, and double bridge
You will see the Goma fire rituals at which wooden sticks are burnt during a ceremony several times a day in order to give Fudōmyō-ō the fighting force he needs. After Goma fire rituals, you can look around inside the temple. You can see statues and experience a pilgrimage that re-creates in miniature on Mt. Joju the 88 Temples of Shikoku
Ryogoku is famous for its sumo culture. Sumo arena (Kokugikan), chanko nabe restaurants, sumo stables, and other sumo related facilities can be found; Akihabara is a district that is known for its many electronics shops and Otaku cultures such as Anime, Maid cafe, and character figures. Once you look around the area, you can go to a game center and play fun arcade games.
