Overview
Santa Maria and Chileno Bays are the best spots in Cabo for swimming and snorkelling. Santa Maria is surrounded by cliffs, making it an ideal place to start our kayak experience. Colourful fish swim right around your legs to greet you! A short kayak ride to the east takes you to some beautiful tidal pools to explore. The finger reef provides calm and shallow waters, great for snorkelling. Here you can also see eels, starfish and urchins.
What you will be doing
We will take this road to head to Santa Maria Bay
Once we arrive and have the equipment ready, we will give you the instructions and a safety briefing. We put the kayaks in the water and paddle up to Chileno bay, while our guide tells us the story of this beautiful place.
Once we arrive at Chileno, we take the kayaks out of the water and get ready to snorkel. This is the place where we will find corals, multicoloured fish and if we are lucky turtles, octopus and more....
Where we'll meet
🧭 Meeting/pick-up point: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (OxxO) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico.
🗺️ Instructions: FOR CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS : The meeting point is at the Plaza Gali parking lot, which is located right in front of the Sandos Finisterra Hotel. We will meet you in front of the OXXO convenience store which is located at the exit of the parking lot. IF YOU CHOOSE OUR COMPLIMENTARY TRANSPORT SERVICE: Our round-trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. Pick-up is approximately one hour before the start of your tour. Upon booking, you can specify your exact hotel. Please contact us to confirm your specific time of pick up one day before your scheduled tour. We do not offer transportation from hotels outside of the tourist area, such as Hard Rock, Nobu, or Four Seasons (these are approx. 50 min. away from the tourist area); for those hotels, we will pick you up at our standard meeting point noted above.

Choose your start time between 7:30 and 13:00. We recommend the earliest start possible for your tour as historically there are stronger winds early in the afternoon).
For your safety, please notify us of any medical conditions in advance. This activity is not apt for individuals with back problems, expectant mothers, or serious medical conditions

We do not use boats, all our water activities start from the beach, and our snorkelling sets off from the beach too
Participants must be at least 6 years old
Max. weight on tandem kayaks is 195kg/425 lbs
Your safety is our priority, when the conditions are not favourable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund
Please bring Swimsuit, Beach towel, Beach sandals and Sunblock (biodegradable!)
