Overview
Tenerife is one of the best places for stargazing in the world. During this tour, we'll observe visible planets, the Moon, stars, galaxies & more. Join us as we take a safari trek across the night sky, and learn detailed explanations of the science and mythology by expert astronomy guides. This option allows you to drive your own vehicle, perfect if you come from North of the Island or outside the pick-up areas.
What you will be doing
Enjoy a seamless pickup from South Tenerife, taking you straight to a local Canarian restaurant. Here, you can savour a traditional dinner and drinks, complemented by scenic mountain views.
Post-meal, it's time to relax as transport is provided through the island's striking lava fields and forests, and no taxi bookings are necessary. Your guide then leads you to an ideal vantage point to watch the sunset with Mount Teide as your backdrop, accompanied by a glass of cava to toast the moment.
As the evening arrives, you'll venture to Mirador de las Narices del Teide. Here, you can utilise powerful telescopes and lasers to see views of the stars invisible to the naked eye. Enjoy informative guide commentary, as well as a free photo under the night sky. Then, conclude your evening with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel.

🧭 Meeting/pick-up point: Chio Motorhome & Camping Area, TF-38, 38688, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain
🗺️ Instructions: From the main road there is a well maintained gravel track down to the picnic and camping area. We will arrive with marked Night Skies Tenerife Vans easily visible and a coach. Arrive in your own car as we move on from this location after sunset. Please ask for Kieran on arrival.
