What you will be doing
Your private tour starts in the morning with a pick up at your accommodation. We will drive towards one of the most special places in the whole country: the Serra da Estrela, located in the Centre of Portugal. Here, have the opportunity to find your inner peace, feeling the silence of the mountains and an area ofpure beauty. This is the perfect tour for every season: whether during Summer or Winter, this region offers a vast variety of unforgettable features. In summer, a place where you can breathe the pure mountain air and walk through the numerous hiking trails. In winter, it becomes a totally white region: the snow is irresistible. The perfect place to ski or have fun on other snow sports
During this tour, we will pass by Sabugueiro, a small shepherd village, in Seia. It is known for its natural resources, among which are the waterfalls and the views of a unique mountainous vegetation. The village is composed of rural houses, simple, granite, and typical of the region.You can visit the Bread Museum (at additional cost), also in Seia, one of the biggest bread museums in the world! Discover everything about the bread-making process and the history of this rural region. This museum also presents different activities for children. A lovely place to visit with the entire family!
An ancient village, full of history and tradition. This village has been denominated as the capital of Serra da Estrela Cheese, due to the quality and quantity of its production. There you will be able to visit the Solar de Queijo, a small museum of cheese. Visit the Tower and discover incredible breathtaking views! Can you imagine standing in the highest point of Portugal and observing the mountain drops, while discovering the biodiversity of this area? At the top of the Tower, you will find a small Portuguese shop with local gastronomic products. The best-seller is the Serra da Estrela Cheese. Enjoy some free time to explore this area.

🗺️ Instructions: Pick up and Drop off at hotels in Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia City Centre. Alternatively, we can collect you from the Tourist Service/Living Tours located at Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, 350, Porto (next to Porto - São Bento train station). Note: If you are staying in another location and cannot access the meeting point, please contact us before making the booking.
