Overview
Sichuan cuisine is world-renowned, and it is much more than hot-pot or spicy food. It’s an art of balancing different spices and ingredients. During this tour, we’ll go to a bustling local food market and shop directly from small-scale farmers, producers, and independent vendors. Then we’ll prepare a meal together at a private, family-run garden restaurant, ensuring that revenue stays within the local community and supports grassroots entrepreneurship. At the end of the class, we’ll share the meal that the group has prepared. You’ll also be able to bring the recipes home.

What you will be doing
In preparation of the cooking class, our driver will take us to a local market for ingredients. Our chef will also join so you'll gain an overall understanding of Chinese cuisines.
Once back to the beautiful private garden restaurant, it will be your show time!
