Overview
Discover Ciudad Bolívar, the vibrant heart of southern Bogotá, where the urban landscape transitions into the mountainous outskirts. This sprawling locality is not only one of Bogotá's largest by area but also rich in cultural diversity, thanks to its residents who have migrated from various parts of Colombia seeking a better life away from regional conflicts. The tour highlights the neighbourhood's dynamic street art scene, where every mural tells a story of resilience and dreams. It's an open-air gallery that reflects the spirit and struggles of its people. You'll also discover hidden gems like a unique café museum, curated by local recyclers who showcase fascinating artefacts found in the garbage, providing a glimpse into Bogotá’s past and present through recovered treasures.
