Overview
Western Sichuan is known for its wild beauty and vibrant ethic culture, yet it remains largely undiscovered outside China. This six-day tour combines breathtaking nature with local culture immersion, and will take you to some of its prized landmarks, such as the Mt Siguniang, Tagong Grassland, and Moon Lake. We will visit indigenous villages such as Tagong Little Sertha, Jiaru Tibetan Village, and Mosika Village. Through activities such as visits to stone-carving artisans, Thangka painting, and ethnic music parties, this experience will directly support the rural community and artisans. Western Sichuan has a large Tibetan population, and through this tour, you’ll learn about the Buddhist faith and customs. We will visit the Jomo Temple and the Mani Stone City, and listen to the monks’ chants.
